2016

  • HQ AMC Meeting (Lisa Monnet, Chris Farkas, Jim Sampey) TBDA was mentioned in the Early Bird Brief in Early July
  • ADC Conference and meeting with Legislatures in Washington DC in June
  • Completion of the Tampa Bay Trophy and 2nd Annual presentation of the trophy in front of 4500 people at opening ceremonies at the Airlift Tanker Association Natonal Summit in October.
  • Cultivated relationships with the New Wing Commanders at MacDill AFB and have listened to the objectives and initiatives for the base.
  • Sent Several Board Member to the Air War College at Maxweell AFB, AL for 1 week.

2014

  • Florida GI Bill  – In-State Tuition for Military Veterans moving to FL
    • 2015 Bill to make In-State residency ‘permanent’ filed.
  • Tinker Elementary School – Expansion to K-8
    • DOD OEA Grant to ‘build’ Middle School being led by Cong. Castor
  • FDSTF, DRG Grant Awards
  • FL Rock – Leading process with FL DEP/DEO to secure parcel and eliminate encroachment
    • 2015:  Full Fee Purchase failing;  Working Restricted Easement Agreement (DEP)
  • Influencer Receptions – Cong Jolly & Rep Jimmie Smith (Chmn, Mil & Vet Affairs Cmte)
  • MacDill 2025 Strategic Engagement Plan launched with Deloitte (National)
  • WorkForce Team expands to include Transitioning Military (including Spouses)
