Dr. McCracken advises local companies in technology-oriented business and program management mainly in the aerospace/defense industry.
He earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Florida and his MBA from the University of South Florida. He has previously held the position of Director of Advanced Programs for SRI International, where he was the principle capture lead for multiple government contracts and was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Marine Technology Program. His prior corporate experience has been in such companies as: General Motors, General Electric, Lockheed Martin, Eagle-Picher Technologies and Advanced Bionics. He has founded or co-founded several businesses ranging from an analytical lab to a specialty battery manufacturer to an entertainment consulting firm.
Currently, he serves as the Startup Quest® Program Manager for both CareerSource Pinellas and CareerSource Tampa Bay.
